Jeep Patriot Whining Noise When Acceleratingfriends Birthday
Webmar 6, 2013 · i've noticed this for the past 8 months to a year, and it's kind of a whirring/almost cricket sounding chirping noise that comes from maybe the front right. I have 2 issues on my 2007 jeep patriot 2. 4. 1 st issue is patriot makes whining noise when accelerating at idle and driving took off the serpentine belt and changed. Webjul 9, 2015 · listen for the noise with the engine running and see if it sounds like it is coming from the belt drive area. Common causes in that area are the alternator, and the tensioner or idler rollers. you can remove the belt and see.
