Scene 1: Down the Rabbit Hole

(Alice sits reading a book under a tree. A White Rabbit rushes past, checking a pocket watch.)

Alice: Oh, my! A rabbit with a waistcoat and a pocket watch! That’s quite peculiar.

(Alice follows the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole.)

Alice (to herself): This is a very deep rabbit hole! I wonder what’s at the bottom?

(Sounds of tumbling and falling. Alice lands with a soft thud.)

Alice: Well, I've never fallen so far before!

(Alice finds herself in a large hall with many doors.)

Alice: Oh dear, which door should I choose?

Scene 2: The Caucus-Race and the Pool of Tears

(Alice encounters a group of animals: a Dodo, a Lory, an Eaglet, and others.)

Dodo: We'll have a Caucus-Race! Everyone run as fast as you can in any direction you like!

(The animals run around in confusion. Alice is puzzled.)

Alice: But…what's a Caucus-Race? And how do you win?

(Alice begins to cry. Her tears form a large pool.)

Alice: Oh, dear, I'm so confused and lost.

(A Mouse swims by.)

Mouse: Are you crying? What's wrong?

Scene 3: The Mad Hatter's Tea Party

(Alice enters a clearing and finds the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse at a never-ending tea party.)

Mad Hatter: Have some tea! It's always tea-time!

March Hare: Why is a raven like a writing desk?

Dormouse: (sleepily) I don't know!

Alice: This is the strangest tea party I've ever been to!

(The Hatter and Hare engage in nonsensical conversation and riddles. Alice tries to join, but finds it increasingly frustrating.)

Scene 4: The Cheshire Cat

(Alice meets the Cheshire Cat, who appears and disappears at will.)

Alice: Excuse me, which way should I go?

Cheshire Cat: That depends on where you want to go.

Alice: I don't know where I want to go.

Cheshire Cat: Then it doesn't matter which way you go.

(The Cheshire Cat fades away, leaving only its grin.)

Scene 5: The Queen of Hearts' Croquet Game

(Alice arrives at the croquet ground of the Queen of Hearts. The flamingos are used as mallets and hedgehogs are used as balls.)

Queen of Hearts: Off with their heads! (Shouts often and unpredictably)

(The Queen plays croquet with a group of playing cards. Alice makes a mistake and the Queen becomes furious.)

Scene 6: The Trial

(Alice is put on trial, accused of various nonsensical crimes.)

King of Hearts: Order! Order in the court!

(The Queen yells frequently and demands executions.)

Scene 7: Awakening

(Alice wakes up under the tree, realizing it was all a dream.)

Alice: What a curious dream! I wonder if any of it was real?

(Alice closes her book and smiles.)

(Curtain)

Note: This is a simplified script, and many details and characters from the book can be added to enrich the performance. The director can choose to adapt the dialogue and scenes to fit their vision and the available resources. Consider adding songs and more visual spectacle for a richer theatrical experience.
